	Northern Italian Wines from the Trentino Region 2-5 p.m. (7/31/2010) Territory: Trentino is one of the few Italian region not touched by the sea, its territory is mountainous and includes the majestically beautiful Dolomite group, and a great number of small lakes. Historically under the domain of Austria for long centuries, in the Northern part of the region as a consequence the German language is spoken, and the region is officially bilingual. Famous for its production of apples and wines, the region has a greatly developed tourist industry, famous for its winter resorts, such as Madonna di Campiglio. We are delighted to have our favorite Italian Specialist, Chris Zimmerman, with Vias Imports pouring a wonderful line-up of these great value and delicious Italian Wines. 	Small Vineyards Tasting 4-7 p.m. (9/11/2010) We are seekers of those outstanding small vineyard wines. Most importers would never give these wines a second thought, regardless of quality, because there is not enough to make a brand. Think of Small Vineyards as your personal wine detectives in Italy. We typically taste 200 to 300 wines each month, but only fall in love with one or two. Those we bring home, so that you, too, can discover them. As wonderful as the wine is, the stories of the families and artisans who make them are equally important. Who does not want to know more about the composer, painter, singer, or writer that touches more than your basic senses? We have found that many of you are like us and have a sincere desire to know more about the artists who make the wine. After all, what is art, if not a direct reflection of the one who makes it?
	Fall Trip to Walla Walla Friday, Oct 15th-Sunday Oct 17th (10/22/2010) World of Wines Fall Crush Trip to Walla Walla Friday-Sunday, October 15 - 17 Join us for a “crush season” trip into the heart of Washington’s Wine Country – Walla Walla. We will be taking you on a search for new and exciting wineries as well as visiting some of our old favorites. On our trip we will be touring at least eight wineries where they will be taking us on a private tour of their facility which will include a private tasting. We will also be having a private winemaker dinner with Five Star Cellars at their winery on Saturday evening. -Transportation- Travel to Walla Walla will be by private bus.
